Special Effects

  • Top stitch. This is one of the oldest and is used mostly to force
the material to lay flat. By using a heavy or different color thread
this can make a plain seat "pop"

  • Stitch Graphics.

  • Embriodery. Easy to do but a little time consuming.

  • Piping. This can help keep a corner round and can be used for various accent reasons.
  • Pleats. We have a double needle machine.
This makes it quite easy to do a perfect parallel line.

  • Chrome spots. Add a little bling. In this case it was used to continue a theme.

  • Conchos. A western touch.

  • Valance. ( sides only or full) Used to hide the shape of the side of the seat
and sometimes to make it bigger to hide the frame. Also a western touch.
Combine with chrome spots fringe and conchos.
  • Fringe as well as chrome spots concho and top stitch.

  • Braided edge. Something fairly new I have been working on. It is very
time consuming and will probably run $150 for a seat used as an accent only.

  • Flames. Very time consuming to do it right. These are padded leather flames.
