Pricing

Below are some basic ideas. I need  to know from you exactly what you expect and how you would like your seat to look. Any thoughts of cutting corners to save dollars can come later. On the other hand throwing money at the problem is not the answer either. First we must start with a good foundation of ideas and what the finished product should represent and how it should compliment the bike as a piece of art. It is best to throw it all in, all the ideas that excite you and then differentiate between the ones that are necessary vs. cost.

This sample number one and number two should give you a an idea of pricing.

Sample one "À La Carte Prices"

That UPS ground service works darned well....
It is gorgeous! Thanks for doing such a good job.
I took it over to the mechanic's house Sunday and put it
on the bike with all the newly painted bodywork.
He looked and said "WOW! I think we're onto something." T.M.

Sample two À La Carte Prices

  to come.....

Most people want to know how much a job will cost and sometimes this can be hard to answer until I know all the details but this page should give you an idea. Is it expensive? Yes it is as all work is done by hand and is custom as in we are building a seat that we will never duplicate. It is not uncommon for the labor on a custom saddle to run 14 Hours

All prices quoted are in CDN dollars so remember to take a 35 % (variable) discount. in other words a $500 job would run a US citizen $350 Check for today's discount here.  US$ to CDN$

All work is custom so the price will be different from job to job but will probably land in the $250 to $850 mark for a solo. Leather, Valance, chrome spots, fringe, embroidery, fancy stitching all effect price

I will try to give some pricing based on past experience.

Two up saddles with very different levels and definite separation will be more labor intensive than an older style flatter two up seat.

A rear pillion should be less than work than a front solo saddle.

A simple two up seat that only needs recovering in vinyl would run about $225

The same seat with new foam would cost an additional $100 any customizing or variance from original would cost  an additional $50.

The same seat in leather would run additional $100

What you did to the seat is fantastic.  I placed the seat on the bike and my
wife thought the improvement and your work to be fantastic. We had looked
at getting a COBRA seat which was going to cost about $200
more but it still was not as wide as this seat. T.A.
